Bug Description

Binary package hint: gksu

I am using Ubuntu 9.10 beta. Gdebi 0.5.9

I want to install some deb packages but I can not return an error.
I tried to install some deb packages, such as the deb provided by SKYPE or DROPBOX. I use the deb file for 8.10 or 9.04.
On double clicking these deb files, the Package Installer successfully starts. I then click "Install Package". After authorization, everything appears normal. Then the gdebi-gtk gives the following error:
dpkg: unbale to read filedescriptor flags for <package status and progress file descriptor>: Bad file descriptor.

The SKYPE deb package I got is from http://www.skype.com/go/getskype-linux-beta-ubuntu-32
The DROPBOX deb package I got is from http://www.getdropbox.com/download?dl=packages/nautilus-dropbox_0.6.1_i386_ubuntu_9.04.deb

I am filing this bug using the ubuntu-bug command. But I do not know if I correctly submitted the bug. Please let me know if I need to give any further information.
