Bug Description

Binary package hint: gksu

The current version of the package has a po.old/ directory that doesn't contain no .pot files.

Looking with diff at the po files contained in po.old/ and po/ directories, looks like those files are identical.

Please remove that directory or merge the translations in that directory in the po/ one. If the po.old/ directory is supposed to be there and is the right one, please inform the Ubuntu Translators Coordinators.

Adi Roiban (adiroiban) wrote :

The po.old folder is created at build time and server as a temporary storage for patched PO files.

No .pot file is copied into po.old

We should find out why those PO are applied as a dirty little patch and are not included upstream.

I will tag this as a task and try to talk with Michael Vogt about it.
