Bug Description

Binary package hint: gksu

Ubuntu version: Jaunty Jackalope Beta
Program: gksu 2.0.2-1ubuntu2
Problem: When running "gksu some_app", the password dialog is shown and the screen fades, but it won't cover the whole screen, maybe because my screen resolution is too high (1680x1050). A photo is attached (can't take screen shot because gksu blocks everything)

Expected behavior: gksu should fade the whole screen.

I think this maybe related to the dual monitor I'm using. It seems the region which is faded has the same resolution of the laptop screen. I will do some more tests and report them when I'm done.

I think I understood what is happening:
As I have two monitors, gksu is fading both of them. So there is a superposition of two semitransparent rectangles, one for the big screen and one for the small. The darker area is due to this superposition.

Notes:
I'm using the NVIDEA card.

Ok, I've figured out what is the problem.
This happens only when using Twin-View
from nVidia's graphics driver.
