gksudo locks up computer

Bug Description

When I go to System->Administration->Networking; the graphic box (gksudo)
appears but the cursor does not blink in the text entry field and although the
cursor moves, nothing else responds. This is on a Pentium III, 768M RAM running
Dapper Drake updated as of 11/12/05.

I have exactly the same problem. I updated on 11/12/05 too. Fortunately the
command line sudo still works correctly.

Thanks for your bugreport.

gksu 1.3.6-1ubuntu1 is in the source archive and needs a rebuild. I contacted
the buildd admins and hope to get that done soon. You can "apt-get build-dep
gksu ; apt-get source -b gksu; dpkg -i gksu; dpkg -i
gksu_1.3.6-1ubuntu1ai386.deb" to fix it by hand.

Updated gksu is in the archive now, that should fix the problems. Please reopen
if you still have trouble with it.
