Bug Description

Dear Sir,

My system is:Hp compaq nx9030 laptop
OS: Ubuntu Breezy preview - gnome 2.12.0 - kernel 2.6.12-8.13
Processor: 1.6 Ghz Centrino mobile
Memory: 256 MB
Graphics: Intel onboard 82852/855GM
Sound:Intel ICH4 AC'97 controller
network: Realtek 8139, pro wireless 2200BG "ipw2200"

Hello, sometimes when i open an application like nautilus, administration
disks.. and exit it this errors occurs "i ran nautilus in system tools Run as a
different user root" i changed the settings in the Administration Users and
Groups to make my default user part of the root group and the password of root
and default user the same. Thanks for your help.

Can you please let me know what version of the gksu and libgksu1.2-0 packages
you run? You can find this either in synaptic or by executing (on a terminal):
$ dpkg -l gksu
$ dpkg -l libgksu1.2-0

is there a way to reliable reproduce this problem? That means is there a action
that will always lead to this error message (e.g. you open a specific folder?)

Hello, after upgrading to the latest kernel/software i couldn't reproduce the
problem so i guess it's fixed, here are the versions of the gksu and libgksu.2-0:

root@ubuntu:/home/bluegene# dpkg -l gksu
Desired=Unknown/Install/Remove/Purge/Hold
| Status=Not/Installed/Config-files/Unpacked/Failed-config/Half-installed
|/ Err?=(none)/Hold/Reinst-required/X=both-problems (Status,Err: uppercase=bad)

ii gksu 1.3.0-1ubuntu1 graphical frontend to su

Thanks. I think we are no longer affected by this problem, there has been some
fixes in the libgksu1.2 code.
