Bug Description
I cannot use gkdebconf. I have tried re-installing (both with and without purging beforehand) and I get the same results. As soon as the application starts up, the message "Something wrong happened. Here should be the package description." is displayed in the Package Description panel.
Ignoring that, I attempted to use the program. However, when I select a package to configure it, the description is out of sync. It usually identifies a package listed before or after the package which I have selected.
If I also ignore that and click on the configure button, it appears to go to work... and times out after several seconds... and reports "The configuration script returned an error status."
The package is unusable... I'll remove it from my toolbox.
