JavaDoc jar does not define the method Tag.position()

Bug #155519 reported by Egon Willighagen on 2007-10-21

Bug Description

The Tag.class in com-sun-tools-doclets-Taglet-0.7.8.jar does not define the method position() which is available from JavaDoc5 and possibly lower. (wishlist bug report)

Egon Willighagen (egonw) wrote :

Attached is a possible patch: it adds the method to the API, but not sure about the implementation -> it relays to the position() call to ClassDocImpl.position() but not sure if ClassDocImpl keeps track of the tag position. The source file location should likely be OK.

Is this symptom still reproducible in 8.10?
