export not working, missing dependency on pandoc

1. in the dropdown box on the left hand side select "Latex"
2. click the "Export" button

Result:

Server error: /usr/share/pandoc-1.9.1.1/templates/default.latex: openFile: does not exist (No such file or directory)

You'll get similar errors when trying to export to other formats.

To fix this, just install the pandoc package.

Installing the pandoc package does fix this bug for me.

It therefore does seem sensible at first glance to make it a package dependency, but there is a caveat:

Is “export” considered “core” functionality of gitit? It might be more appropriate to make pandoc a “suggested package” rather than an hard dependency.

I'll link this bug in the gitit mailing list to see if anybody there has thoughts about this.
