Bug Description
Binary package hint: gimp
Gimp 2.6.10 does not print at all on Ubuntu 10.10 because of a version conflict with Cairo.
Gimp 2.6.10 on Ubuntu 10.10 ejects blank pages without any graphical content.
I've confirmed this with both a desktop printer and an office laser printer.
The gimp guys know this, and released a fix intended for Ubuntu 10.10.
It was never included in the 10.10 release.
Please see... (near the bottom of that page as of this writing.)

For more.
There are a few other minor bug fixes in 2.6.11. Here's a list, though the ppa listed on the following
does not work, so right now there is no work around.

I confirm this bug on Ubuntu Maverick (i386). The bug is not present on Lucid, with the version of GIMP backported from maverick. Hence, it is most likely due to a conflict which is specific to Maverick.
