Bug Description

Binary package hint: gimp

Gimp 2.6.6-0ubuntu1 AMD_64 crashes entire system. I'm using Kubuntu Jaunty. Gimp loads and after moment system stops responding.

* Is this reproducible?
* If so, what specific steps should we take to recreate this bug?
* Could you attach your Xorg.0.log and syslog after getting the crash?
This will greatly aid us in tracking down your problem and resolving this bug.

I experienced the same issue with gimp.
Do you have an encrypted home?
Because this happens also with ktorrent.

No, none of my directories were encrypted.
