gimp-2.6 crashed with SIGSEGV in g_object_get()

Binary package hint: gimp

A reprodusable crash on Gimp.
The first time I just went to press file -> Save but gimp suddenly freezes along with the rest desktop, only mouse was ok. Then it crashed and apport collected a ~10 MB report.
I opened the gimp through terminal to see if it will crash again and what will be reported in terminal. After a few minutes, when i was playing around with the menus and hover over the file, edit etc. it crushed again with this report on the terminal :

Segmentation fault (core dumped)
