Bug Description
Binary package hint: gimp
When zooming large (3264x2448 -- 8 MP) images to 150%, the image disapears, and only the checkerbox pattern appears.
According to Gimp's bugzilla, this has been fixed in SVN on Sept. 26.

I am 99% sure that it was introduced in the latest package (2.4.0~
I think that many users have 8 MP or larger cameras, and use the Gimp on these images. 150% is a really common zoom factor, and it'd be a shame to ship Gutsy with this bug in the Gimp.
Could we get this patch applied to the package before Gutsy is released?
Thanks for your hard work.

* Apply patch from upstream (SVN r23659) that corrects the image
