Ghostscript monopolizes the system RAM when printing

Binary package hint: gs

Was printing a PDF in evince when the system slowed down to a near-halt. Looked around on system-monitor and found gs was eating up all my RAM space. Ended the process and everything went back to normal, though I didn't get the PDF to print.
