Everyone who has black squares in his output, please attach your actually used PPD file (in /etc/cups/ppd/) and follow the instructions under "CUPS error_log" on https://wiki.ubuntu.com/DebuggingPrintingProblems. Attach also the file you tried to print and tell from which application you tried to print it. Do not compress any of the attached files.
