Binary package hint: ggz-gtk-games

Found the following problem during a install test:

Unpacking replacement ggz-grubby ...
Selecting previously deselected package ggz-gtk-games-data.
Unpacking ggz-gtk-games-data (from .../ggz-gtk-games-data_0.0.13-4_all.deb) ...
dpkg: error processing /var/cache/apt/archives/ggz-gtk-games-data_0.0.13-4_all.deb (--unpack):
 trying to overwrite `/usr/share/ggz/pixmaps/cards-1.png', which is also in package ggz-gtk-game-data

TEST CASE:
Steps to reproduce this issue:
1) Boot Edgy, pbuilder chroot is good too
2) Install ggz-gtk-games
3) Set Feisty repositories in /etc/apt/sources.list and upgrade to Feisty
You will get the output above.

This debdiff obviously doesnt apply and duplicates your changes in both changelog and control files. Also it would be nice to have a tmp clean patch. Can you please provide a working and clean patch?

Thanks for the patch for feisty. Unfortunately, it must also be applied to gutsy, and it must be applied to gutsy first. Would you mind preparing a similar change for the gutsy release, and once in gutsy-updates, it can be pushed back to feisty-updates. I've unsubscribed ubuntu-universe-sponsors pending this additional debdiff.

There is no reason to persist this change to hardy, as neither supported upgrade path can invoke this condition.

Unless I overlooked this issue, there's no need to push such change to Gutsy since Feisty -> Gutsy upgrade is clean because ggz-gtk-game-data package is available only on Edgy. I also tried to perform Edgy -> Feisty -> Gutsy upgrade with a test package (using debdiff provided by Daniel) and everything went fine for me.

My apologies: my previous statement was incorrect. The feisty update is correct, and no gutsy update is required. I'm resubscribing the sponsors queue to request upload.

I inserted TEST CASE: in bug description to match https://wiki.ubuntu.com/StableReleaseUpdates (Universe) and uploaded to feisty-proposed. Closing main task, since this bug is relevant for Feisty only. Now waiting for an archive-admin to accept it.
