2007-01-07 19:25:59 Duncan Lithgow description Binary package hint: ubiquity This is a usability bug. Ubuntu 7.04, Herd 1 (Feisty Fawn), Desktop CD, live session Steps to reproduce * Put the CD in and allow it to start. * Choose the 'F5 Accessibilty' menu * Select one of the options, and return to the main menu. * Choose the 'F5 Accessibilty' menu again and you'll notice that your setting is not displayed in any way, nor can you undo a selection. Expected Result: The menu items should record with a star, cross or something, that they have been activated. Reselecting a selected item should unmark it - removing it from the installation configuration. Binary package hint: ubiquity This is a usability bug. 2007-01-09 11:12:09 Henrik Nilsen Omma ubiquity: statusexplanation Hi. Thanks for reporting. If I understand it correctly your issues is with the very first CD boot menu (which is a gfxboot issue). You want to mark one item as selected. I've not tried, but I'm sure pressing F5, selecting 'None' and pressing Enter will revert to the default. How would blind users know an item was marked?
