Bug Description

When booting off the Kubuntu 9.04 live CD, the boot menu automatically asks you to select a language. But the only option for us Britishers is "English". There is no "English (UK)" option.

This means you *also* have to remember to switch the keyboard layout to UK at the boot menu. Previously, I've been able to just select "English (UK)", which sets the right keyboard layout at the same time.

This will be confusing to new users, who don't realize the difference between the UK and US keyboard layouts. (Most keys are the same, but some specials such as " and @ are re-arranged).

Thanks for your bug report. This is also bug 157776; please see my comments there.

(For the record, I don't remember there ever being an "English (UK)" option in our CD boot loader.)

Thanks! Ok, maybe I'm remembering something that wasn't there :-).
