Okay, so to make this clear.

If the gfxboot menu is /exited/ (by starting the kernel) in text-mode then everything works.

But if the gfxboot menu is /exited/ (by starting the kernel) in graphics-mode then the initramfs RAM disk will be corrupt or not loaded.

Could people confirm if this is a good synopsis?
