Bug Description

Binary package hint: geotranz

Geotranz-Version 2.4.2
Kubuntu-Version 10.10
Package-Installed via Paket-Manager

The result of an Transformation of Coordinates from the Geodetic-Systems into the Local-Cartesian-System mixed up the X- and Y-Coordinates.

Could you please try the following test case:

Input coordinates:
Datum WGE 1984, Geodetic, Ellipsoid Height
Longitude: 45
Latitude: 50
Height: 0

Output coordinates:
Datum WGE 1984, Local Cartesian
Origin Longitude/Latitude/Height: 0
X: 2904699
Y: 4862789
Z: -3473438

I've tried it with geotranz 2.4.2-3 and geotranz 3.1-2 and the results are correct.

Regards,
Roberto Lumbreras
