Gaps below each line when copied and pasted

Bug Description

Binary package hint: gedit

Everytime I copy and paste from a Gedit tab, to a pastebin, for example. pastebin.com, it ends up with 3 or 4 blank lines below each line of text. This confuses me because the sources end up being ruined with lines. This is also the case when opening the same text file in Windows. It doesn't show the lines in Gedit itself. which is strange.

Thanks for the report, i cannot confirm that behavior with gedit 2.26.0, could you add the file with which you're having the issue? thanks.

Of coarse, Although this is happening to all my .txt/.php/.tcl, etc files that I've edited via Gedit. Here is one of my files.

Also, I'm pretty sure its when you copy and paste from the text editor its self using right click. But I'm not sure.

It looks like this has been fixed. When I typed "apt-get update" and then "apt-get upgrade" it updated my gedit. Although it still says its version gedit 2.24.2 in Help > About
