Bug Description

Binary package hint: gedit

there are some keyboard shortcuts which seem to be mixed up:
ctrl-s opens the "jump to line" input box rather than saves the document
ctrl-w pastes from the clipboard rather than closes a tab

however, all other shortcuts i tried still function the way they should. also ctrl-i still opens the "jump to line"-dialog and ctrl-v still pastes.
this is on intrepid, amd64, problem present both with gedit 2.24.0-0ubuntu1 and gedit 2.24.1-0ubuntu1 (from the proposed channel). this problem didn't occur to me with hardy.
gtk-key-theme is set to default.

thanks for the report, ctrl+s works fine as Save here, can you reproduce the same with another new user created on your system? it seems that your configuration is somewhat broken that's why you're getting those keybinding changes, thanks.

thanks for your response.
this problem is not reproducable with a fresh user account. but thie wrong keybindings are also present when i start gedit as root (sudo gedit). by the way, my installation of intrepid is a upgrade from hardy.
even when i enable 'Editable menu shortcut keys' in
Menu > System > Preferences > Appearance > Interface
and change the keybindings of both "Save" and "Go to line" any key combination i define for "Save" will trigger "Go to line"

however, in my ~/.gnome2/accelsgedit the keybindings are right, but it seems they are somehow overriden

i had indeed added a second layout (german neo). removing it solved the problem.
thanks a lot for the pointer!
