Bug Description
Binary package hint: gedit
I’m using gedit 2.23.90-0ubuntu1 on Intrepid amd64. When I click Save, type in the name of a directory (e.g. /tmp) into the Name: field, and click Save, gedit becomes very confused and outputs the following messages:
** (gedit:26283): CRITICAL **: gedit_unrecover
** (gedit:26283): CRITICAL **: document_saved: assertion `emsg != NULL' failed
After that, the Save and Save As commands become disabled for as long as the document is open.
