Thank you for your bug report. Are you sure you are using the current gvfs version?

My dupe (bug 198525) was fixed with the latest gvfs (0.1.11-0ubuntu1) package.

My problem turned out to be a broken theme. I couldnt use the save dialog at all. Changed the theme and presto.
