gedit: JavaScript syntax highlighting false positives for regular expressions

Bug Description

JavaScript syntax highlighting in gedit picks out regexes (regular expressions) when they're not there. To reproduce, open a new file in gedit, change the syntax highlighting option to JavaScript, and enter the following line:

    var x = 1 / 2, y = 1 / 2;

Everything between the two slashes is highlighted like a regex. It's true that in JavaScript regexes are delimited by two slashes, but that's not what's happening here.
