Bug Description
Binary package hint: python-
How to reproduce:
Open a console
start gedit from the console (so you can see the debug messages)
Go to the Gedit->Preferences
Open the Plugins Tab, attempt to enable any python plugin (external tools or snippets are good examples).
The plugin will fail to load and a message similar to this one will be printed out:
** (gedit:22693): WARNING **: Error initializing Python interpreter: could not import pygtksourceview.
** (gedit:22693): WARNING **: Please check the installation of all the Python related packages required by gedit and try again.
** (gedit:22693): WARNING **: Cannot load Python plugin 'Bracket Completion' since gedit was not able to initialize the Python interpreter.
