Bug Description

I try to load the intelligent text completion and it fails to load. I ran as root and a Backtrace showed up.

I asked on Ask Ubuntu and was told it was a bug and should be reported. Here is the Backtrace:
Traceback (most recent call last):
File "/usr/lib/gedit/plugins/intelligent_text_completion.py", line 18, in <module>
class IntelligentTextCompletionPlugin(GObject.Object, Gedit.WindowActivatable):
TypeError: Error when calling the metaclass bases
metaclass conflict: the metaclass of a derived class must be a (non-strict) subclass of the metaclasses of all its bases

(gedit:29241): libpeas-WARNING **: Error loading plugin 'intelligent_text_completion'

(gedit:29241): Gtk-CRITICAL **: gtk_tree_selection_get_selected: assertion `GTK_IS_TREE_SELECTION (selection)' failed

Here is the other required information:
System release: Ubuntu 12.04.2 LTS
gedit version: 3.4.1

I expected to be able to load the awesome plugin and got an error.
Thanks so much!
