Bug Description
I can open a single file with gedit by right-clicking the file in Nautilus and selecting Open With... Text Editor. If I do the same thing a second time with a different file gedit begins to load the file into a new tab as expected but then hangs before the Loading file progress bar completes. The only way to exit is by clicking the close window button and selecting Force Quit from the '... is not responding' message box. The same thing happens if I load the second file into gedit from the command line or if I load it using gedit's Open button. The files are large but not huge (about 2Mb) and are usually tab or comma separated text files.
I am using gedit version 3.4.1-0ubuntu1 with Ubuntu 12.04.2 LTS on a fairly recent Core i5 laptop with 4Gb RAM. Hopefully apport has attached the relevant files, however please let me know if there's any further information that would be helpful.
