Bug Description
Binary package hint: gedit
It would be nice to be able to save the current configuration, and then be able to load it from the shell, that way you can have your gedit configured for .txt or for programming in the different languages. Example I like the background white, with out line numbers for .txt, and a darker background, and line numbers for scripting in python. Being able to have an option to load those preferences from the shell would also be helpful that way we could create another entry in the main menu with those configurations
