Bug Description
Binary package hint: gedit-latex-plugin
Version 0.2rc1 has no button on the toolbar for building ps/pdf/dvi files from tex. Although this is present in the tools menu, I believe it shouldn't be removed from the toolbar, as this command is a main step in the latex document writing workflow. Also, the addition of this button as present in previous versions will not clutter the UI, as there is space available on the toolbar (and i say this using a eeepc with a 9" display).
