Bug Description
The UI to change the login session only appears on the gdm password screen (via the cogwheel icon that appears next to the login button). If you have a user with no password, this screen is bypassed, thus meaning that they can't change their login session type.
To reproduce:
* create a user with no password (e.g. with passwd -d).
* start gdm.
* select their user from the list.
* watch as they are logged in without seeing the password screen.
This was seen on a recent Arch Linux, if that helps at all.
