Bug Description

Having an issue with a system here that has both an AMD Radeon HD 6850 and an AMD A8-7600 APU that is unable to get a display from either when attempting to boot into GDM, and subsequently when attempting to boot into GNOME from lightdm. The display will simply hang and be unable to switch to a TTY.
