Bug Description
Binary package hint: gdm
When I do shutdown or reboot in user Gnome session, it waits a bit, user is logged out, and I see GDM prompt. There, I have to choose shutdown or reboot again in order to shutdown/reboot the computer.
I see it on two computers:
- freshly installed 10.10, 64 bit (95% when I try to shutdown/reboot)
- 10.10 upgraded from 10.04, 32 bit (seldom)

Hi,
I installed Ubuntu 10.10 (64 bit) on my Dell Laptop 1557. In Gnome , Clicking on Restart button is simply makes the user to log out. It does not restart the system as a whole. Also sometimes after booting the system that power button on the extreme right top corner just disappears. How to fix that ?
