Login screen is stretched in widescreens

Binary package hint: gdm

When logging in the screen resolution in set to be 4:3 and appears stretched to fill the 16:9 screen.
After logging in the wallpaper looks tiled for a second and then stretches to the right size.

i can't take a screenshot in the login screen because print screen doesn't work there, but the bug is gone now after yesterday's or today's update
