Bug Description

Binary package hint: gdm

After upgrading to Lucid, and several normal reboots (?), the login now consistently crashes at appearance, repeating the drum sound, but with mouse and keyboard not functioning at all. There are some similar bugs like these:

https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/555263
https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/494394

But somewhat different, i.e. user can still enter something at first.

P.S>. I send the bug file through recovery mode/ ubuntu-bug
