Bug Description
Binary package hint: gdm
When monitors.xml is configured to use 2 displays as a single desktop, GDM displays shutdown menu in the middle of the panel.
See attached screenshot.
With default nouveau configuration, two screens mirror each other at resolution of 800x600, therefore I copied my monitors.xml to gdm dir.

Thank you for your bug report. The issue is an upstream one and it would be nice if somebody having it could send the bug the to the people writting the software (https:/ /wiki.ubuntu. com/Bugs/ Upstream/ GNOME)
What videocard and dual screen configuration do you use there?
