Bug Description

Binary package hint: gdm

This didn't happen in Karmic, neither in Lucid, until this update today. (I haven't used this computer in 1-2 weeks, worked before that).

When GDM starts, I click my user, and the keyboard shows as «Norwegian Dvorak». However, the keyboard ISN'T dvorak, it's normal qwerty.

This worked just a little while ago, hence a regression. gdm = 2.29.92-0ubuntu9

This bug was fixed in the package gdm - 2.30.0-0ubuntu2

gdm (2.30.0-0ubuntu2) lucid; urgency=low

  * 33-multi-keyboard-layouts.patch: Work around strange libxklavier behaviour
(which returns NULL for empty variants, but does not accept NULL when
setting a configuration). This fixes broken variant setting in some cases.
