i don't have any G.D.M. preference option

Bug Description

I WOULD LIKE TO CHANGE MY LOGIN SCREEN WINDOW BUT THERE IS NO OPTION TO DO IT. WHEN I CLICK SYSTEM>ADMINISTRATION>LOGIN SCREEN THE APP FREEZES AND DOESN'T RESPOND PROPERLY (EXCEPT "CLOSE" BUTTON).I HAVE ALSO TRIED MANY OTHER OPTIONS TO TRANSFORM MY LOGIN SCREEN LIKE "SUDO GDMSETUP,APT-GET INSTALL <PACKAGE> AND OTHER COMMAND LINES BUT FAILED TO FIX THIS PROBLEM. I HOPE YOU WILL BE ABLE TO HANDLE THIS SITUATION AND REPAIR THIS BUG
