Bug Description

Binary package hint: yelp

Sir,
I added about 5 users through System->Administration->Users and Groups. Now, all these names are visible at the login screen alongwith the option Other... . When there is option for Other... on the login screen, it should be possible to hide remaining list of users except for the first/selected/default user for initial login.

Regards,
Satish

I think the same. I remember that older versions you had to introduce the user name too. Thank You for making Ubuntu better.

Thank you for your bug report. The issue is an upstream one and it would be nice if somebody having it could send the bug the to the people writting the software (https://wiki.ubuntu.com/Bugs/Upstream/GNOME)

You can tweak gconf keys to filter users out but that's not something discoverable for users

@Col, Sebastian mentions how to disabled this function, please try to do that and if your issue it's different please fill a new report such a wishlist one and I will send this problem to upstream developers for you (in case you think this option should be disabled per default). Thanks!
