Bug Description

Binary package hint: gdm

Fresh install of karmic from todays daily live iso.

Click my name in gdm, then note the keyboard layout is wrong, so hit the drop down, then spend a little while perusing the list. When I finally choose a keyboard I'm dumped back to gdm with an 'Authentication failure' message. I guess the logon timed out, but it's not a nice message.
