Binary package hint: gdm
I'm running Karmic Alpha 3, updated as of 5 minutes ago.
I started gdm-control-center, selected "Login Screen". The dialog was shown for split a second, and was gone.
The exactly the same happens if I select "Login Screen" from System-
Apport has provided the option of bug report.
