Ok, I'm partially nailed the bug, it has to do with spanish translation. When I
use American english (with language selector) gdmsetup appears correctly.

Yes. I've updated my breezy machine today & gdmsetup still has this behaviour.

This upload fixes the issue:

 gdm (2.8.0.5-0ubuntu1) breezy; urgency=low
 .
   * New upstream version:
     - gdmsetup list hidden files (Ubuntu: #16253).
     - fix a string issue with gdmsetup for some locales (Ubuntu: #14632).

While I have that package installed, and I have restarted my X, I still suffer
from this bug. I have attached an screenshot at the topic linked above. I have
reinstalled the package, reconfigured it... The only option left for me is
deleting my gnome preferences files.

The translation are not shipped with the packages but with the language pack,
you need to wait for an update of those

Hi.

This bug is still here, so I imagine that the language packs haven't been updated
yet. Since today is 11th of october & breezy is scheduled for the 13th, I don't know
when the language packs are going to be updated, are this packages updated the
last day just before the release?

Thanxs

Yes, thanxs. My only "complaint" is that
I think the language packages arrived too late
for possible bug fixes. I think they should be included
in an early stage of the development process to iron
language bugs. But's that my 2 cents, the sabdfl & the
ubuntu team are wiser that me in this aspect.

Breezy is great, thanxs.

According to the comment it has been fixed with rosetta, so it's waiting for a
language-pack update. Martin, how often are planned the language-pack updates
for stable?
You may want to ask the gdm.mo file for your locale and copy it to
/usr/share/locale-langpack/<locale>/LC_MESSAGES/gdm.mo to be sure it's fixed by
the current rosetta version

Monthly actually, but it depends on the progress of the Rosetta exporter.
