hardy login pref dialog is too big for 800x600 even when moving top and bottom bars to the sides.
The hardy login preferences window is too large for the space available on the screen even when the panel is moved. The window cannot be resized using the normal resize commands and cannot be resized using the resize menu commands. When the window is maximized it hides the top bar so the minimize button cannot be accessed. Then when the close button becomes available, if it is clicked, the window does not close, instead it moves to the original full screen position with the close button hidden behind the panel. This process is now a loop and the window must be closed using the close menu function by right clicking on the tab in the panel. Somehow the window is not a standard window. |
