Bug Description

After upgrading from Feisty to Gutsy I tried to log in after the restart. Upon logging in the Desktop, Icons, gnome-panel, the weather applet loads fine. It gets to a point with loading the applets and just goes right back to the login screen.
I'm not sure which package it is....It doesn't seem to be gnome-panel. It appears as if the OS logs out after trying to load the nm-applet. Unfortunately after this bug occurs I can't get to a virtual console. Any troubleshooting steps will be greatly appreciated.
