Bug Description

Quite often, but not always, after manually locking the screen,
I find that I cannot unlock it and end up having to restart X (ctrl-alt-backspace).
Each time I enter my password, there is no "Sorry, that didn't work" message
(i.e. password is apparently correct - I checked that caps-lock etc. is not active)
but to no avail, the screen will not unlock.
