Bug Description

Found after upgrading to saucy today: the script in /etc/init.d/gdm contains an fi-statement too many (also visible with syntax hilighting in vim), which makes it impossible to manually restart gdm.

Attached is a patch to make it work again.

I can confirm this in Daily Build of Trusty,

Line 79 of the init script has 1 to many "fi" statements. Removing the fi at line 79 allows system to start gdm

Like Steve O comment, remove the extra "fi" at line 79 solves the problem.
