gdesklets won't run in Jaunty

Binary package hint: gdesklets

gdesklets various modules all use shebangs referencing /usr/bin/python2.5
However, Python 2.6 is the default package installed with Jaunty.
Perhaps the shebangs should be modified to #!/usr/bin/python
When I changed all the Python components I could find (all the executables in /usr/lib/gdesklets), I get a new message: "Could not import tiling module"
