Bug Description

StickyNotes 0.1 gDesklet from the gdesklets-data package from the Ubuntu repository is giving an error on startup. I've checked the "ignore errors from this desklet"-box, but it looks like the gdesklet is ignoring this ignore function. Quite annoying to be confronted with an error screen every startup.

Screenshot on request :-)

Sorry for the short and descriptive report. The full error states:

"Runtime Error
/home/thijs/.gdesklets/Displays/StickyNotes/notes.display

An error occured while executing a desklet.

Details:
name 'prefs_cb' is not defined
<internal>
> 1 __retrieve__ = prefs_cb"

ps. sorry for my typos/mistakes

This is due to deprecated gdesklets being included in the gdesklets-data package.

StickyNotes 0.1 does not work with Gdesklets-0.35.3.

See bug #52683.

Could anyone please create a new gdesklets-data package?
Have a look at gdesklets.zencomputer.ca
You can find information on which desklets are working with the latest release.

You can solve this problem by removing "callback="prefs_cb" " from the notes.display file. That solutoin works fine on my system.
You can also download fixed notes.display file from here (changed by me). I only removed this "callback.... " text.

not a real patch to the package, is an example of a working config file instead.
