Bug Description
Binary package hint: gdebi
When installing a package which depends on scrollkeeper (unversioned), and rarian-compat (which Provides scrollkeeper) is installed, gdebi forcibly uninstalls rarian-compat and installs scrollkeeper, causing a lot of dependency issues.
Installing the same package with dpkg -i does not cause this problem.
This can be reproduced on Jaunty by installing (for example) this: http://
I first experienced the bug here: https:/
Colin Watson confirmed this was a problem with gdebi rather than the package here: https:/

Michael Vogt has reproduced the behaviour on irc so I'll confirm the bug.
