Bug Description
Binary package hint: gdebi
if you want to install a program which consists of two .debs, e.g. many games at www.getdeb.net, UFO A.I. for example;
(ufoai + ufoai-data) - you usually place them into one download-folder and install them.
you can do that with "dpkg -i ufoai*";
But my wishlist says: If you doubleclick on ufoai.deb gdebi searches the current directory for possibly dependencies as well - maybe as second priority, first should be the repository?
should be simple to implement I think an would be very useful...
Example: You have installed aMule 2.1.0
Download amule-2.2.0.deb and amule-common-
Try to install with GDebi. It is not posible because GDebi says:
- Not possible to install amule-2.2.0.deb because amule-2.1.0.deb is installed.
or
- Not possible to install amule-common-
It is necessary to make: sudo dpkg -i *amule*.deb
Kubuntu Package Menu make good this: http://

exactly, before you can install more than two files with dependencies each other, now no!
A regression, cannot understand why package are replaced just because it's "nice to see" and not "nice to use".
