  * Add PIE support, taken from Fedora patch bundle:
    - debian/patches/pie-support.patch: core PIE support.
    - debian/patches/pie-support-tests.patch: PIE operational tests.
  * debian/rules: drop use of "tee" to solve strange hangs on i386/amd64.
